I am sure this question has been answered already, but is the 22 weekly strike meant for only max level people or is it meant for anyone? I tried it at lvl 23 with a two other lvl 21s and once the _FIVE_ wizards spawned in the first big fight we threw in the towel :).

I guess I did have 2x the kills and half the deaths as my teammates at the time, maybe the level difference is that significant. Just trying to get a feel for if I should expect to complete weekly strikes before I hit 26.

You have a better chance of getting an engrem from a level 8 enemy then a level 28 enemy. It is dumb and needs to be fixed. Make a strike rewarding. Give more then 12 freakin faction rep in a Vanguard strike. That is just idiotic.

I did that farming and the Nexus farming a couple of times for maybe 20 minutes but yeah it is boring and feel dumb doing it. But it works. You get a lot of engrems in a pretty short period of time.

This. There really isn't much incentive to run strikes currently. I've been getting and seeing plenty of legendary drops from the skywatch farm. Few have turned into exotics as well from members of our group. A 2 hour span there will net you MUCH better drops than any current strike.

Alright so Im almost to 25. Picked up my first Legendary equipment last night! Time to start collecting mad materials!

Two questions:

Does the Helium Coil farming trick on the Moon really work?

I already hit the weekly cap of 100 for Van marks. Can I keep collecting them for my inventory or am I SOL and I cant collect anymore until Tuesday?

Anyone? Man, I was gonna buy one with glimmer and farm spinmetal for the other. They should just fix the exploit and not remove it completely :(

Got the armamentarium chest for a Titan from Xur's engram, I'm a warlock. Totally fine with this actually, I was planning on making my next class a Titan.

Roughly. The reddit test was done with a small sample size of only 55 and had like a 35% result of purples. I reckon with a bigger sample size you would see it trend closer to 20% than the other engrams (green and blue) trending towards the more 66-70% side of things.

Edit: On another note, Just finished the bounty for Bad Juju :D Ooooh the bird skull glows green :D

Probably just random what weapon & class armor he stocks. I doubt Bungie would do Sunbreakers twice unless people asked for it or something.

What's the quickest way to level up

PvP or pve

I must be phenomally lucky when I pulled Universal Remote and an Exotic Hunter glove from 2 legendary engrams turned in at the same time.

....I wonder, could it be time based? When I got both exotics at once, I pretty much just clicked through the turn in process quickly. So I wonder....I remember back in the day, for TF2, the Golden Hammer drop was time based before they hotfixed it..could it be the same for the engrams?

Bounties. Both PvE and PvP.

Just grab as many as you can, do em, turn em in and your golden.

Fuck fuck fuck. Just bought the same Legendary gear twice by mistake. Used up my marks. God fucking damnit. No way to get my marks back. Discarded and got some shards back. God fucking damn.

It could be tick based, so maybe for half a second or so the chance is the same for two engrams.

got a purple engram during pvp with gaf last night... two strange coins. I'll take it but the gearless/weaponless streak continues.

Go semi-afk while crouching behind rubble near the cave of wonders in Skywatch on Earth. If there are people there killing you get to leech exp and get engrams (though they will be shitty whites and greens).

Hmm....I wanna test this out. If I had the legendary engrams to do it I would. It'd be interesting to see the results if it was tick based. Because getting 2 exotics, one from an armor engram, the other from a weapon engram, in the span of quickly clicking X, is quite phenomenal on the statistics side of things.

I was thinking there is some sort of luck biorythem going on. Cause one monent I got like 4 legendary engrams in a short window and got nothing but shards. And another time I handed in two within a minute and got two exotics.
