I don't want to say you're doing it wrong but at level 20 you could have done a strike that would have had the same odds of getting stuff and also gotten bonus XP and marks that you could save up to buy guaranteed legendaries. You're at the level where you can start repping a faction, too.

I think you're just having a bad run with the fusion rifles. They are certainly not as annoying as shotguns.

Yeah, every single day in Crucible. Fusion Rifles hard countering everything and winning them can be dodgy as fuck. FR's aren't balanced in any way in PvP, especially if fast charge one.

I am level 23 hunter.
I have 85 vanguard marks
lvl 1 vanguard
lvl 3 cryptarch

I have also not seen that special sales men that sells exotic stuff at the Tower. Do I need to have reached a certain lvl to be able to see him?

If anyone needs help with the Weekly Heroic with that big chained up bastard, hit me up on PSN (TestSubject15).

We figured out a sick exploit on him that has you avoid any battles with his minions and lets you focus solely on him. I ended up scoring the trophy for no deaths during a strike fighting him. Its easy stuff.

i think you can get leg. engrams after lvl 20

they are extremely rare though

Ok, so did ?? level mobs in the game ever serve any purpose? I have returned and killed the ones I discovered while I was low, and found literally nothing... they were just standing in a room that lead nowhere and had no loot.

I feel they added them in the starting area just to trick beta players into thinking there were going to be areas worth returning to after reaching a high level... but it turned out to be BS...

Honestly I'm not psyched on any of those three. I got the same three choices and just went with Toland's Legacy because Thorn doesn't sound exciting and I'm not a fan of shotguns.

You couldve spent that two hours farming strikes and would've earned a bunch of marks and rep. It wouldve been a hell of a lot more helpful. Probably wouldve scored some decent post strike stuff too.

Dunno about you guys, but I get a lot of blues and the occasional purple playing the strike playlists. Plus it's a lot more fun than camping in front of a cave that guarantees you nothing but boredom and burnout.

Did anyone read the Legends grimoire on the nine? It's all what ifs and stuff, but still cool to read. I want to know more about the nine, hope they get an expansion.

I did most of them this morning on my Vita. Went to Venus, melee'd a ton of dudes while picking up patrols, and ended up getting a public event and a legendary engram.

I swear, the only farming I have to do is for materials to upgrade my weapons/armor. In fact, I think those things are the only items in the game that are made for strict farming considering how prevalent they are in both chests and in the environment.

I've decided Dust Palace is my favorite strike boss. Did it twice on the 24 strike playlist last night. It's challenging to juggle 3 bosses with different shields AND adds, but also not so ridiculous that you feel like you're pumping bullets into a lead wall. I feel bad for the Xbone folks who can't play it yet. It's probably the most dynamic strike fight in the game right now.

Spec defender titan, wait till adds are down, run down and drop ward of dawn on top of the boss and have the entire group run in and punch him to death. Most hilarious thing I've ever done in this game

I'd rather face fusion rifles then shotguns any day. I guess we all have different experiences.
