Anyone have a good farm route for Helium Filaments?

I'd like to hear this too as like an idiot I turned in my helium for rep in vanguard, and lo and behold I needed helium to level up my legendary armor piece.

At this point, I'm not sad to get Strange Coins. I got my Exotic gauntlets with Strange Coins already and am back up to 8 again, so by next rollover I'll have more for either another armour piece or a weapon.

What's the point of getting multiple exotic armor pieces if you can only have one equipped at a time? Go for the weapon.

85+ Hardonic Essence
+13,000 Glimmer
Enough Kills to fill up your ranks

Chance Blue/Green engrams dropping

I was able to loop around in that first area of the moon and find chests+figments. They can spawn in the room where you use the ghost in the first moon mission too (like a couple of them). After that I just checked the caves and roamed around. Was able to get enough figments to fully level up the legendary when I get enough ascendant shards pretty quickly.

That's what I did for my chest piece. Would do the same for the helmet but I'll wait for more crucible bounties since I did all of them today.

If you're farming spinmetal in the earth strike that's one thing though, that's not meant to be that easy for other materials. If so I'd love to hear if somebody has a helium farming spot. And that shit would get repetitive and slow with my friends and I, I'd rather spend the time doing the level 24 strikes or PvP to get marks/legendary items at this point than farm for spinmetal (unless I outright need them for leveling up something.

Secondary abilities and the Stat bonuses, and also the synergy with whatever other Rare and Legendary armour I have at the time. Weapons are good, but I'm not going to save coins if an armour piece shows up and I don't like the weapon that's available.

I hardly think what he means when he says that, is that "mmo people" should have had way lower expectations in terms of raw content and overall game design. But rather that there will be some things that are different from traditional mmo's.

If you guys are changing up your subclass once you're 20+, what are you doing to raise it the fastest way you can? Would going back and doing story missions again be a decent way along with any bounties? Not big on PvP. Would rather leave Strikes alone until I'm not gimped.

Kill everything along the way, every 10 loops, dismantle trash earn glimmer + mats, save engrams repeat
Most mobs drop good stuff too
Extra Spinmetal grows outside so you double dip
Learn location be set

Just finished the strike and I see what you mean. That was brutal.

3 strange coins doesn't seem like much of a reward for the number of times we had to retry the fight against the giant eye. Got the feeling this post-game is going to be a real slog before I can start getting my hands on some decent gear.
