Literally anything with an attack rating higher than 215. I like hand cannons, but I haven't gotten a single hand cannon drop with a rating higher than 178.

I got a legendary Gauntlet, exotic helmet, and a legendary chest armor. Upgrading those helps so much.
I was stuck on lvl 24 for 3 FUCKING DAYS.
Before getting this shit
I got pretty lucky eh. I have bought the exotic helm for my hunter from Xur, bought a legendary arm from the Vanguard Hunter and bought my legendary boots from future cult war. Then I got lucky and got a really cool legendary chest piece out of a legendary engram. So yeah I'm all legendary now and in the process of upgrading which takes forever because of the stupid amount of Ascendant shards you need.

That's what I meant, you saw what you wanted and you got it. I didn't. Tomorrow I might do the weekly strike level 24 before it disappears and get to 10 strange coins I guess, to prepare myself for the next weekend where I hope the guy will have heart of the praxic fire.

So i just reached level 20 this morning, and I'm a bit confused as to how to progress from here. I know I need stuff with light in it or something, but how to I come across this equipment? I've been playing quite a bit of Crucible and a few strikes, but I keep getting greens and blues...

Some blues also have light if you look at the stats. You can get to about level 24 on blues alone.

So I just burned 600 Spinmetals to power my mark rankings with Vanguard and Crucible
Put 450 into Vanguard, +40 Marks, +200 Rep, 2250 Glimmer
Put 150 into Crucible, +15 Marks, +75 Rep, 750 Glimmer
Thank fuck I farmed those earlier trying to see if the Glimmer cap was the same in the Beta as 25,000 (it is)
I caught an infection (UTI), was in hospital all of Friday/Saturday
I went from 56 Vanguard to 96 & 44 Crucible to 59
I hope this doesn't get nerfed

Holy crap! I spent over an hour in "The Archive." I was level 14, the default level was 15. Those enemies were ruthless, but fair. I knew every time I died it was my fault. That was intense.
But as a reward, I now have my Bladedancer subclass! Yes!

FInally had a day off from work to really put some hours into the game today. I was dying to play all week. I couldn't stop thinking about it, especially after seeing some of the gear you guys were getting.
Started out farming Nexus with hydruxxo and the_adeks, thanks guys! Had about 11 rare engrams to turn in. Got nothing good except a slight upgarde to my leg armor. Went to the postmaster which gave me some more rare engrams for leveling up the Cryptarch. Was surprised as hell when one gave me legendary gauntlets! I check the stats and it has the increased reloading for hand cannons stat! It's literally the perfect piece for me, wont ever be changing out that one.
Then after playing some great games of cruicble with jeffc_76 and ne0ism got some pretty major upgrades to my chest armor, and best of all my hand cannon which remained my only uncommon item. It also has the faster reloading when getting precise kills trait. My uncommon hand cannon had this paired with faster reloading on my gauntlets and after playing with that for a while, I was dreading going to back to regular slow reloading. It's easy to say I'm pretty fucking ecstatic I managed to find the pair again with the legendary gauntlets and rare hand cannon. Here's my titan as of now.
Now I just need the RNG gods to bless me with some more legendary and my first exotic gear.

Got my first Legendary Hand Cannon off of a Blue Engram! Right before that a Legendary Engram gave me a Hunter chest (I'm a Titan) so I was a little perturbed, but so relieved.
It's the Red Hand XI, with New Monarchy colors. I was so elated once I got it! Now I have a Legendary Fusion Rifle and Hand Cannon, let me see some Legendary armor so I can get past 24 please.

I'm 26 too, one Exotic almost fully upgraded and one Legendary about 2/3rds upgraded. It's not really hard to get there.

At this point, I'm not sad to get Strange Coins. I got my Exotic gauntlets with Strange Coins already and am back up to 8 again, so by next rollover I'll have more for either another armour piece or a weapon.
