I'd rather go grave digging.

That's because she's taken :lollipop_smiling_hearts:

Shhh! Our love is a secret. Robo-Human relationships are still taboo.

ANY persona on the switch would be great. I still think we are going to get 5.
I actually think a P4G port is coming since they just brought it to PC but did not do a console release, even on PS. Next year is the 25th anniversary and they said they were planning on celebrating it with new announcements so I'm hoping they bring P3FES, P4G, and P5R to Switch/PC/PS4.
I have Persona 5 installed on PS5 but have yet to play it. I tried to play on PS4 but i couldnt get past the first dungeon. I have been kinda waiting and hoping for the switch port. Should i just play it?
Royal or Vanilla? If it's Royal then absolutely. BOTW, P5R, and FE:Three Houses are my top 3 games this gen.

I wish P6 was centered around adults and actual dating. If not take out the "dating" in those games cause they are extremely weak shit and focus on the gameplay.

In fact just make SMT6 and release it 2 months after 5.

Morgana a shit.
Persona but its just the confidant conversations.

Poly Bridge on Switch is almost unplayable. There are problems in the text, the edge of screen cutting the text, a "press 2" as instruction...

I gave up. Deleted the game. :/

someone buy me a switch

thanks
Wait a few years and I give you mine.

Last year I let my old consoles on public benches for other people to pick up (a SNES, N64, GBA, 2 DSLites, 1 3DS).

I don't want to keep old consoles anymore (despite that, I still have other 2 DS Lites and 2 3DS that soon will follow the same path).

We'd see a Monster Hunter character in Smash before a Resident Evil character..
That'd make the most sense for another Capcom character.
I love Age of Calamity and can't put it down. I figure Breath of the Wild already told us everything we need to know about the canonical events leading up to that game's story so why not get a different take on it. I'm a big stupid idiot but there are plenty of good moments in AoC's story.

Not a huge Animal Crossing fan but it is quite funny seeing it up against a bunch of grrr super serious competitors for game of the year at TGA tomorrow.

NMH 1+2 were nice surprises. Lots of smaller releases and ports this year but it's been good for the backlog at least.

Honestly the only thing that really disappointed me so far is that they haven't announced Jonesy for Smash yet.
AC needs to win. The meltdowns would be glorious.

I have three requirements from ports:

1: Run well
2: Don’t poke my eyes out with ugly
3: Stay true to how the game is supposed to artistically look, even if cut back

If those three are met, I’m cool with getting a wider selection of games, or getting to play recent games portable about an entire generation before you should be able to.

Doom Eternal outside of that screen, looks pretty good too.

I agree entirely. I had a good time with DOOM on Switch and it DOES look good 90% of the time, but I was surprised when I played it a couple of years later on PC. Really blew me away at 1440p and 60FPS. It is a different experience. Rocket League was the same. The frame rate can be inconsistent at times, the Switch's wi-fi is garbage in handheld which led to a lot of connection issues.

Skyrim on Switch is absolutely amazing. 30FPS fits it perfectly fine and it's still very respectable looking, hi-rez, no frame rate issues. I would much rather play it there than on PC for comfort reasons.

Civ VI is the other major 3rd party game I've got and it's PERFECT for playing in bed or away on the road. Cross saves are a thing of beauty. Controls can be awkward to learn, but it's still fairly intuitive and bar the long loading times, is the same game as it is on PC.

Doom Eternal really doesn't look good to me here. I have it on PC but would have jumped in at half price on Switch IF there had been a physical version. I'm sure it's a technical marvel, but I wouldn't really want to give it a go unless the Switch gets a little boost sometime in March / April. I'd take 720p at 60FPS over 30 at 900 or 1080.

So, now that I had almost an entire day to reflect on Hades, here's my thoughts on it in a concise manner:

Gameplay loop is FUCKING AMAZING, the dialogues are inarguably top of the industry, the music is good if repetitive, the visuals are stunning and honestly it's a tour de force by a group of talented artist at the peak of their creatives powers. Great stuff and everyone should play it.

GOTY still is Animal Crossing and the best indie I've played on Switch still is Hollow Knight. Hades is essential though.

If you consider the fact that Switch is a handheld which just so happens to have TV out moreso than it is a console with portability features, then a Doom Eternal port is actually quite impressive.

From a hardware perspective, it absolutely should be looked at like that. Take off the Joy-Cons, and you have a 6” micro tablet, albeit a bit thick (get it out of your system guys), running games that it takes hulking, incredibly heavy boxes, with big fans or advanced cooling systems to run normally.

I disagree a bit in some parts, but a good take. Something I think we can definitively agree on, is how good last-gen ports look. It’s something I’d like to see them do more. The games get better looking and portable, instead of having to make compromises at all.

Is Nintendo ever going to do Directs again or are they like "Nah, we so rich now bitch, you get what you get."
When they have more certainty they will. The advantage of doing Twitter announcements and Partner showcases is that it gives them much more flexibility. If an announcement needed to be delayed, they could just push back the tweet or save the game for next month's partner showcase (I think this is what happened with Bravely Default 2).
