The metal flowers have poetry in them, each set increasing in complexity and length. First set are haikus.

Also, another animal I'd like to see as a robot in H2, this time a non-hostile grazer type:

Is there such a thing as over-grinding on this game?

I'm at level 41 already with about 74% completed (I just completed
The Grave Horde
). I did a ton of errands and side quests, as well as collecting almost everything. I feel like I've scraped most of the map for anything that can pop up in terms of triggering side quests or errands, but I also still feel like I'm missing a few of them.

Anyway, it's been a fun collecting and just roaming the land. Unlimited Fast Travel was major for me, though it made me really lazy going places, even short distances lol.

I've just done Erend's mission where
we found his sister in the enemy camp
. Is it just me or was that really goddamn hard? I died loads and had to dial it down from hard to normal.

I feel you. I was level 50 by the time I reached Meridian. The game is so fun I just spent an insane amount of time on trials, side quests, hunting random robots etc.

Completed and Platinumed this amazing game. This topples Bloodborne as my favorite PS4 game and probably is in my top 5 games of all time list.
Everything about this game was flawless for me. Graphics, story, gameplay, sound, EVERY SINGLE THING.

Story was a surprise package, I never expected story to be this good. The way it unfolds is fantastic and the key music being played during story revelations makes it even more awesome. I simply cannot wait for DLCs and inevitable sequels. Kudos to GG and Sony for creating one more awesome Playstation franchise.

Redmaw battle. The environmental destruction is amazing. That is why this fight unique compared to other Thunderjaws. The area here is full of trees and rocks that can be destroyed.

Special mention regarding trophies. I usually never care about trophies, but I platinumed this game, simply because trophies were very well "designed" around the main game. 80% of trophies you simply get by just enjoying and progressing in the game. You don't have to go out of your way to get them. I wish every game was like this.

I just unleashed the machines and had them go HAM on the enemies.
I hacked the ravager when he wasn't looking and then just sat back. When it was all over, he was nearly dead so I shot off his gun and took it to the next area. When the guy with the big gun showed up from the stairs, he only lasted a few seconds.

I feel like "unleash machines and have them go HAM" is my default strategy.

I would make it but I have no idea if I can keep shinobi's stuff or if I need to make all new things. Never done an OT before ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With that video, I think a second play through is all but inevitable for me at some point. Damn, I never really used strike from above on machines like that! Tear blaster too, I fired that thing like twice. Great video.

I really adore this game but there's one huge part that drives me crazy: the damn in game menu music. I hate it so much. I hate that it restarts every time you go into it so you hear the same bars over and over ad infinitum. I've never had menu music get to me but I have to mute it while I'm reading data logs and what not. It's horrible.


Other then that the game is amazing. Epic battles that are so much fun and an awesome story to boot. I'm playing on Very Hard and wouldn't have it any other way.

Well I'm sort of almost done. I intend on beating the game and then finishing the Hunter Grounds and collectible fetch quest nonsense when I'm done with the story. I think I'm at 86% with 63 hours logged in. Oh yeah and Petra gets along great with Aloy.

You are not alone! sometimes I just do a lot of the side stuff and then after I finished all of them take on some of the main story so that I can make it last longer than necessary.

From grass cover to grass cover I do it all the time but general traversal running is much easier to do plus I do a lot walking too to enjoy the environment/graphics

My only disappointment with this game is that I found it too easy. I'm playing in very hard and I expected a bigger challenge. At least for the last missions. Even Redmaw was really easy to beat. Sigh :(

I love everything about it, it's my GOTY for this gen with Bloodborne (and probably Zelda BOTW soon) and one of the best games I've ever played but still ... I had to crank up the difficulty from hard to very hard pretty early in the game and still no challenge.

ALso I can't believe I've played a game in very hard. I don't have a lot of time for gaming so I play 95% of my games in normal mode and I'm turned off pretty easily by hard games (bloodborne being the only exception I can think of) but I love this game so much that I wish it was a harder game. A way harder game to beat.

so I made some banners for all the small things in the OT in a similar style to the one I made above. if someone wants to check them out for me and tell me if they look dumb let me know

also changed it to Horizon Zero Dawn for the one above, since that would have been a little confusing. idk

When I first started I spin dashed like Sonic, now I've calmed down a bit and run more than roll, but I still roll a good amount.

You might as well do it, since shinobi is taking a break from GAF following some stuff regarding ME Andromeda (at least that's what I heard). :p
