I think there's a perfect scenario where Microsoft betrays Nvidia and make the eco system more feasible to who can't spend more than $1G on pc while still not compromising the experience. In that case, the $1G build no longer belongs to PCs and I don't see any problem with that.

That is not factually true. At all. Some games work better on Ps5, some on XsX. Sometimes that changes after the patches (both ways).

There's a Majority of superior PS5 versions with that "gap" of power while every games where superior on PS4 versus Xbox One, when the hardware difference was more significant, which show that the XsX being better is just numbers that means nothing if devs can't show an always superior version on Xbox.
What I don't get is how is MS going to release their new console in 2026 when they are still in an early pitch stage? From what I understood from one of MLID episodes. They haven't even approached AMD yet. Perhaps. Off the shelf components box with Nvidia or Intel GPU/CPUs?

I'm correcting you, because you said all games get superior versions on ps5, now you say majority and that still is not true. The reality is closer to 50/50. Which is totally fine as they both cost the same. XSX is more powerful in one way, PS5 more proficient in other. Also, remember that ps5 is way more popular than xsx and a lot of developers spent more time optimising for ps5 (It has happened many times where subsequent patches evened out the performance on XSX)

PS5 with open memory expansion Nvme 7.4GB/s and the Xbox with that proprietary card and bizarre 2.4GB/s
When I bought the 2TB nvme 7.4GB/s SSD for the PS5 I paid half the price of the 2TB 2.4GB/s xbox card
The difference is that I don't need a script to decorate the HDMI bandwidth, I simply open Amazon and see the price of the SSD.
