Playstation 5 uses FreeBSD, not DOS/Windows...
so it will be something like this. (example)

/usr/local/bin/Concord

Edit: Sony will sell book "Teach yourself PS6 shell in 30 days" and PS6 promo material will contain ** stand, disc drive and keyboard sold separately

Should have been done when they decided to move shut down console button to like 10 button presses instead of PS button hold like it was on PS4. At least you can move the turn off option to the front, but it should have been there by default. I hate these UI changes just for the sake of change that in the end makes it worse than it was (on PS4 it was perfect).

So, after you move the option to the front it's 3 clicks instead of 2 on PS4. Doesn't seem like a big deal.

I agree that they should have kept press/hold PS button operation the way it used to be. It's no longer an issue for me though, like it used to be when I played regularly on both systems.

It's not that big of a deal, you can get used to everything (and these are really first world problems) - the point is that they made that change just for the sake of it. It's like common practice in IT, you have something that works just as intended and then they make some baffling decisions to update it. In the end you have feeling they do that just to have excuse that they are doing something even if it is for the worse just to keep their job.

My comment is a bit harsh, of course I'm not happy that someone lost his job - and since this is the topic - it's just that this shut down option first comes to mind as something really basic and you get feeling that these people don't even try to use their products to get better feeling for it.

My main issue with it is that it doesn't remember the option you chose before, and defaults to rest mode instead of turn off. I don't use rest mode anymore, because there's been some short power cuts over here, and on top of that there's still sometimes issues when waking from rest mode. I very much dislike when UI options are placed the way the company wants you to use it, instead of how you prefer to use it. The most recent example being, that in order to see system update details you now have to scan QR code. Fuck that shit.

Yeah, the QR code stuff is annoying, there's strange design decisions across the board.
