No Mario or Zelda announcements. The only games of note were Mario Kart (which looks oddly boring) and Donkey Kong. The From game will be interesting, but looked like something from 2010.

Performance in the third party titles looked abject. Really aggressive FSR and washed out images.

It was a rubbish presentation the created zero hype.

Welp. Atrocious hardware that looks around 1/3 as capable as a PS4, with an exclusive Miyazaki-directed Bloodborne 2. Paid upgrades for barely noticeable resolution/framerate bump on Switch 1 games. A fun looking Mario Kart game. Gamecube emulation. Donkey Kong Cobalt Mining Simulator.

Yeah pretty underwhelming. Mario Kart looked nice that was about it.

Also fucking knew they would charge for upgrades.

i think mario kart world , prime 4, dk banaza is a good launch i'm sure they will be saving mario's own game for christmas or early 2026 . i can only play so many games at once so i'm good

Nope. The switch Version is scheduled for August I think, don't think the switch 2 Version will be launching erlier

I don't get it, why add shit nobody asked for, for games that look awful. That "soccer" game looked like shite.

I have no idea why there's some push for hardware innovation in Nintendo that adds more features, where their core concepts are what sell.

I think this is going to be a 3DS type of success at best. Right now, doesn't feel like anything is cooked right.

I'm in day one. I didn't buy the OLED Switch so this will be my first Nintendo console in a long time. But Metroid Prime 4 not being a launch title does take some of the luster out of it for me, I was expecting/hoping that. The only thing on launch that interests me is Mario Kart so far and I don't even like Mario Kart, but this one interests me because of the open world. Still, I think it's a cool console, though it didn't blow my mind. Then again, I didn't expect it to.
