It's the fastest selling Zelda ever. Doesn't sound like a bomb to me.
Fastest selling doesn't mean everything. The same was said about FFXIII and it still has yet to outsell FFXII's sold-through LTD.

A $40 remake with almost no advertising and no Black Friday deal didn't sell that well?
Summoning failed. Required materials not on hand.
8.4 million x 1.07 = ~9 millionOn the software side, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception sold 700,000 units in the month, NPD revealed to Game Informer, coming in at #7 behind leaders Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The first month sales for Modern Warfare 3 were up 7 percent over last year's Black Ops.
If 360 breaks all records say goodbye to Xbox 3 in 2012.
Uncharted 3 opening did better than UC2, I think
Well done to the Dogs
Congrats to Uncharted and Batman making the top 10 in a really competitive month. Surprised to see Uncharted outsell Zelda.
I would congratulate Skyrim too (I've really really been loving the game), but I can't help but feel that they don't deserve that much considering their awful handling of the PS3 version. Luckily my PS3 version post-patch hasn't had many issues, but others are still shit.

Why are MS and Nintendo taking so long with official PR?? They both have a lot to brag about.
Uncharted 2 opened at #1 on October 2k9 with 500~600k units...so uh we don't know yet if this sold more.
Skyrim was in first until it took a bullet to the knee.
http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/...n-warfare-3-skyrim-top-u-s-holiday-sales.aspxWhen looking at the top 10 best selling titles at the SKU level, both Super Mario 3D Land and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary would have been included.
How about some KOFXIII huh?

It did 700K, so yes... yes it did.
Looks like CoD is hitting that wall.On the software side, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception sold 700,000 units in the month, NPD revealed to Game Informer, coming in at #7 behind leaders Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. it's still Halo. I think all the spinoffs and non-numbered Halo games, plus the CoD effect, have dulled the greater public's longing for more Halo.
it'll be very interesting to see what kind of reception Halo 4 launches to.
Haven't seen any hardware company PR yet.NPD Group said:“The critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham City sold well in month two at retail and is now just shy of Batman: Arkham Asylum’s lifetime unit sales.”
4/10
Arrow to the knee.
8.4 million x 1.07 = ~9 million
hopefully, the wall falls down on CoD soon. How large was CoD's marketing budget?
Looks like they are hitting that wall...
I for one am shocked that a multiplatform game sold more than a single platform one.
If SS is at half a million, thats awesome news. If other series sell better, well, thats healthy and excellent too.
Super Mario was >500k, so Halo is probably between 500 and 400k

So all those millions sold in one day that Sony claimed is not true.

Good luck LOL!How about some KOFXIII huh?
Only to be replaced by something else. That or collapse, but I doubt that would happen...hopefully, the wall falls down on CoD soon.
