and when it moves, you don't see a difference. That's obviously not the point of the system but that sharpening filter is a nice bonus actually
I’d like to just see a frame rate option. 30 , 40 (if 120hz tv) and 60+ Just optimise the game to get a solid frame rate at that settingI really hope that the addition of PSSR for PS6 will lead to an end to this graphics setting madness. We have consoles so developers can decide the best way to present their games, offering six or eight graphics mode is insane. I think Hogwarts has even more.
what? your brain? you cannot return something that it's not even available, troll.returning mine tomorrow.
I can confirm it works. I did this before I even powered on the Pro for the first time. It made me delete Astro Playroom off the M2 because it comes installed on the main SSD. Other than that, smooth sailing. Can I just put my M2 SSD from my regular PS5 into the PS5 Pro? Will it work? Or do I need to reinstall all the games?
I got a more squared off stand from Amazon, gives it a wider footprint, feels very solidAnyone got the stand? It’s kinda wobbly honestly. I screwed a bit with a coin but I don’t want too strip it
No wobble but when I tried it horizontally after vertical it was cooler to the touch. Could have been other factors like time of day and all that because it has been much warmer than normal but it might be something to look into and test further.Anyone got the stand? Just got mine. Have to say, pretty impressed with the clarity on the stuff ive played. Could just be placebo. About 2 ft from a 55" lg c2From what I read it just a higher base res before upscalling. Looks a little cleaner but if you turn on fidelity drops it to 30fps so looks like ass to me. Was hoping u get the best of both… Maybe it will come later.
6 feet in front of a 77inch oled tv, can barely see the difference side by side. That said other games look much better.

I chuckled. For reasons. What? Are you fucking thick? I posted that on the 6th of January, the Console was released on the 7th of January which would have been 'tomorrow' when I posted it, it's now the 8th of January because of Timezones, I live in London
2 ft? Lol playing all your games like thisJust got mine. Have to say, pretty impressed with the clarity on the stuff ive played. Could just be placebo. About 2 ft from a 55" lg c2
Lol yeah realized after i typed that. Basically it's on my desk setup. So 4 - 5 feet.2 ft? Lol playing all your games like this
This thing is legit above my 3080. Maybe if I had a 12gb variant, pc would still have a tiny edge but as it stands now, it is faster.
That's impressive. 3080 is about 4070 speed.
btw
Although I don't think it's quite at the level of a 3080 (when it's not VRAM-starved anyway), I wouldn't use unpatched games as evidence that it's slower than a 6800 in rasterization. What? In pure power perspective it's much below your 3080. It's below Radeon 6800 in raster.
True only reason I posted it here is he is not exactly wrong in his conclusionLol coming from the dude who tried to build a POS PC at the price point of a PS5 and failed spectacularly.
32 oled monitor lmao
Honestly when I was seeing it side by side at my buddies house I personally could say yeah that looks much better
But now having played with mine at home VERY little so far but on a 32" 4k OLED monitor its like mehhh, is this the pro or the regular PS5.
Whats wrong with a 32" 4k 240hz OLED monitor?32 oled monitor lmao
I’ll give it a watch if you vouch for this piece. I haven’t watched Linus in years.True only reason I posted it here is he is not exactly wrong in his conclusion
34" OLED here and loving it.32 oled monitor lmao

Any site have dismantled the professional and analyses the shit out of the circuit boards and chips?
How is the extra 2GB ram making the OS super smooth?
the PS4 Pro was at most 1/5th of the units sold after it came out. Yea, it's for enthusiasts, obviously. The One X was kind of a one time thing for MS to fix their shit.I think the PS5 Pro, like the PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X, are products that are very focused on brand enthusiasts, which is not my case. I'm going to buy the Nintendo Switch 2 next year, so I'll wait for the PS6 around 2027 - 2028.
idk I think the games take longer to close than before lol.Any site have dismantled the professional and analyses the shit out of the circuit boards and chips?

Ouch. Looks like you need to seriously upgrade the specs to get on-screen improvements that will actually register with people.

Perfect for shootersTiny
This is fuxkin retarded ...how and why?According to DF, HDMI is still limited to 32gbps, with 4:2:2 output. They are using DSC to hit 8K @ 60 FPS. Rather odd choice.
I’m a huge PlayStation fan, and I bought the Pro, but it’s clear to me that this PS5 Pro falls short. I hope it’s just a matter of needing specific optimization to fully show its potential, but at launch, they’re lucky to have Final Fantasy Rebirth and F1, as those are the only games that really justify the console’s price. We went from thinking it was equivalent to a 4070s to barely surpassing a 4050.
I hate comparisons with PCs, but the leap from a 4060 to a 4070 is much more noticeable than what the PS5 Pro achieves, and the price difference between models is similar.
You can really tell that Sony is heavily focused on making profits.
That's exactly how I laughed, when I saw that I sold my PS5fat from 4 years ago, paid 350€ for the Pro and only gained 10 fps (and hopefully) and a little more sharpness in some cases.
What’s his conclusion though? Its just click baity
It’s not a hard sell if you’re the target market.
Why doesn’t he make a video about how a high end gaming pc is an even harder sell?

If you are able to show me something more than a gif, to show me that it is a good buy today, I would appreciate it.
