The point is that people are going to be nasty. That's life. That's how people are. Is it healthier to cultivate self-determination and autonomy in people by reinforcing the idea that words do not matter and they can very easily tell them to fuck off and block them, or is it healthier to convince people that they are weak, fragile, and so easily wounded by online slights that they need corporate intervention and protection in case they get their fee fees wounded?
