well the test is made with a beast CPU. it seems like directstorage reduces overall CPU usage. maybe it is helpful on something like ryzen 5600 or 3600
 
I just tested the game and I'm surprised how well it runs with the right settings. Maxed out RT is definitely not worth the performance hit (not to mention ray reconstruction is glitched) becasue the game barely runs at 45fps at 4K DLSS Quality, but with "high RT" settings though the game runs amazingly well on my PC (7800X3D, 4080S OC)
-4K TAA native 55-70fps
-70-90fps with 4K DLSS quality and 110-140fps with FGx2.
-1440p DLSS quality 120-140fps and 200-220fps with FGx2.
