Ezelcant's plan to form a unified meritocracy is a bit fucking out there.
He went from an idealistic leader willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of his people to Flit Asuno in like 3 seconds flat after he opened his mouth.
Asteroid bluff was unexpected and neat.
New Vagan recruit at the end was a little unexpected too. Show is good at portraying war as a flame people are drawn to, especially when they have some personal tragedy caused by it.
Wikipedia also said that's the end of the third arc and I'm moving onto the fourth? That'd explain the gravitas of this ep and mark it as a good stopping point for not.
Meh. Not really a great episode at all. Also it's one thing for those syndicate agents to follow them, but did they ever explain why they just plain opened fire on them?
Cowboy Bebop 22
This was hilarious. Spike makes a rival, and he isn't so much a rival as somebody who screws everything up at every turn for him, as well as pretty much everybody else. Kinda boss to just ride in to a masquerade party on a horse, though.
Best thing about it was how Spike and Andy didn't even care about catching Teddy Bomber at the end so much as settling the score between themselves. Teddy Bomber's growing frustration at being ignored by them and how nobody was listening to why he was doing what he was doing was great to watch as well.
Also, Spike's and Andy's interactions damn near bordered on sexual tension at times.

Ezelcant, I guess was written that way because he's meant to be the evil character and we shouldn't have any good feelings towards him, it's stupid I know.
.
Also yes Episode 39 is the end of the Gen 3 arc and Episode 40 is the start of the 3 Gens arc because all three of them are protagonists now. Bit of shame because 3rd opening is great and the 4th wasn't doing it for me as much.
Hilarious episode and all the matches. Did like the strategy employed as it kept things going fast and didnt drag out losers too much. Really enjoyed Killua's logic and plotting and what not. Hisoka was great to see again nekkid and even super pervy now, poor Killua/Gon.
They really never saw him use his texture before? I thought he's used it in front of them unless they just never caught on to it? Still, I wonder if the one that can remove the nen is actually the dude that created that monster thing to remove the time bomb on himself? If so then, I cant wait for everything to finally tie together in some huge event.

Also , each person doesn't know every use of his texture and how he uses it .
the ones who know the most about hisoka habilities are either machi ( spider troupe ) or killua brother . And both don't know the full extend of his habilities yet.
Even when killua and gon were studying hisoka match before , they focused on the fact that his attack was hidden by zetsu , and thus why they learned Gyo .. killua or gon doesn't know about hisoka full habilities ..only the audience knows.
This episode was cheap as hell to produce but I always kind of like it when the show spends time poking fun at various otaku game genres, even when the show is totally blind to just how many otaku tropes it plays straight. I guess that's the nature of otaku reference humor.
The results of Yozora's first experience with dating sims is a stark reminder of why it's always easiest to just tell people what you think they want to hear in any game with dialogue choices.
Somehow the protagonist manages to insult the femininity of a robot he built who ends up falling into depression so she goes to the Planet of Wishes to become human. wtf
Rinne no lagrange is a lot of fun.
its very colorful and interesting visually but they tried a bit too hard to pander to an audience.
its just really obvious.
Right, since I know how much you all love the series, I just learned that Amazon Japan recently updated their product page with the packaging/boxart for the upcoming Yami to Bōshi to Hon no Tabibito BD box set. Unfortunately I'm too lazy right now to inline the pictures, but here's the listing.
Hey, it's Grzi! You picked what might be the best possible time to fall behind because there's almost nothing worth catching up on. Just watch Chihayafuru S2 and you're set for this season.
Haganai NEXT 06:
Meidos and Meat's IQ dropping twenty points just for the sake of a Yozora trolling sketch. zzzzzzzzzzz
Really good episode with some good ShiShi moments.
Well until the fiend, the child of mamoru and saki. I mean wow that back breaker
.
I dont like where the plot is going, I just cant see how they can resolve this unless the writer is one of those that ends novels on a bad not, or if this is in the fantasy genre and will have some really anticlimactic end.
World domination through infant baby stealing and building an army of fiends is just really odd and strange. I liked it on a more local and immediate level. Actually can fiends even live on their own and what not, or not turn on the bakanezumi's? If the fiends could have a revolution against Yatomaru that would be compelling, but then the issue of how the normals v fiends would turn out seems like world breaking rules would have to be broken to resolve it, unless fiends can be stabilized in someway.

I need to watch S1 first, but I might just do that once I'm caught up with everything.
Magi - 18
I enjoyed episode 17 (especially the magnificent Hironori Tanaka c), so this episode felt weaker naturally, but it wasn't all bad. It definitely was on the uglier side, and the music on certain scenes really didn't fit, but other than that it was a nice relaxing episode.
The dance scene looked really weird though, like there were no in-between frames or something. lol
Fascinating... tell me more about your dirty fetishes.
I love it when girls cry, or when they drop their food. Like when I see a girl holding pizza, I just want to slap it out of her hands. Hahaha bitch, slap! Now you look so sexy!
I always wondered why Yozora dressed more provocatively than everyone else, and there's an actual reason for this? Self-owned by her bad reading comprehension.
Mirai Nikki 19
Well I didn't see that one coming. That was a well... Interesting ending. Somewhat of a shame though because I was totally down with how it was going before that.

Mirai Nikki 20
OK good, that ended in a positive manner! Shit is really going down. Betrayals :SD Burton and crazy shit everywhere. Should wrap this up fairly soon now.
The most :SDBurton episode yet. Tomoe still craving the Koume while Akiko strategically "baseball marries" her. This show continues to be LEWD and the baseball portions of the show certainly don't feel like they're slacking like some "Cute girls playing X sport" shows do.
I still don't think that the crazy toku power suit thing gels with the rest of the show at all. I'm fine with the show being its own thing and not just 1800s Lupin, but a bandit/getbacker/whatever that can run through hails of bullets is just boring.
