Cyberpunk 2077 is surprisingly hard to find on Ps5. With that in mind, I was just gonna pick up the ps4 version as I was told there is a free Ps5 upgrade. Is anyone able to confirm if this is still the case?

But what do you mean it's hard to find on PS5? For digital you just buy it in PSN store, for physicals all the major retailers have stock (in US).

Yes, there's been no info on any upgrade being taken down so far.

You're safe to pick up the PS4 version and upgrade it to PS5.

You'll also have access to v1.0 CP2077, which is always good for a laugh. Main reason I bought physical, lol.

But keep in mind that the PS5 Ultimate version, unlike the Xbox Series Ultimate version, does not include the DLC on the disc.
The PS5 version comes with a code for Phantom Liberty. For that reason, in my opinion, this version doesn't deserve the 'Ultimate' label.

I bought the Deluxe PS4 edition for $20, used, probably a week after launch. I feel for whoever I bought it from. They didn't even care about breaking even, just wanted that shit out of their sight as quickly as possible, lol.
