My point is that he is playing with a fireteam, so how is he going to do that without being online? I really thought I was pointing out the obvious here.

Plus in case of the raid there are checkpoints, so you could actually get at least a decent chunk of your progress back, with the strikes you'll have to start from scratch.

Either way, it's still a pain. You'd think at least the party leader would stay in the instance and others would DC but then be able to reinvite or something idk. I kinda thought you were joking but wasn't sure

As for raids, I know, I just beat it. But we managed it not long before numerous posts about DC's and we'd just had our first really good attempt out of hundreds of attempts. It ended up being THE good run, but if we'd DC'd when the boss was on barely any health it'd have been soul crushing.

-if I miss engram drops do they automatically show up in the lost items thing in the tower? Everyone is always sprinting through strikes, I don't want to slow people down looking around for drops.

-Do all the legendary weapons/armor have the same stats? The idea is to pick the stuff with the upgrades you want, everything else is the same, right?

I was told on here, last night, that you only get it for one event per day....this turns out to be wrong, because my friend got some twice earlier today. Am I just extremely unlucky to not even get one material after around 4 hours?

You need to get a 3 star ranking (highest possible) for the public event to get the reward. If you don't get it right after the event, visit the postmaster and the reward (this one is the once per day reward) will be waiting for you there.

1. According to posters here, rare and legendary engrams are mailed to you. You can test it yourself nxt time you play. Sorry about the wrong info.

2. No they dont have same stats. All have different abilities. Look in the details before you purchase unless free of charge.

It's totally random. Sometimes you'll get an ascendant shard/energy after an event, but not always. Pray more to RNGsus and hope you get lucky

Yeah, pretty creepy at first. But, I then wondered what race it was because it's def. not any of the ones we've been introduced to. Maybe one day that will be known when new content is introduced.

The only time they have been mailed to me was when
all my special weapon slot was full but I did go and run at the blue engram. Unless your saying you dont even have to run for them, sounds pretty awesome to me.

It is not bullshit if a person believes it to be true especially when the information is not clearly explained by the game and we are asking each other help and gaining knowledge of game mechcanics.

seriously, I'm at a loss. I have only 2 crucible bounties I can do. I'm still at level 0 in the ranking. The game refuses to drop me anything over rare. I haven't seen a rare bounty at all. So it seems like I just have to grind crucible until I'm rank 2 to buy legendary stuff. This is shit Bungie. I'm locked out of doing content in my game because of bullshit randomness and not having the time to sit around all day and grind rep points to buy the armor that would let me participate in all the content. Its a complete crock of shit.

It takes very little time to buy a faction mark and grind rep. You can wear it during pve or pvp content and all rep goes to the faction. The only rep thats really a tough grind is the vanguard rep imho.

Hit lvl 21 tonight. Unfortunately it seems grinding the cave is the quickest way to get rare armor. Still can't find any gauntlets though.
