The hell am i supposed to do with Glimmer.

Upgrades need to be more expensive or something, it's the easiest currency to accrue, with the least worthwhile stuff to spend it on. Constantly edging the max.

There's a specific exotic bounty that requires you to buy either an item from the gunsmith thats costs 12,000 glimmer or a bunch of ammo synthesis packs which total 12,000. I forget which it is, but you will need to spend that much. I'm saving a minimum of 12,000 just in case I ever get that bounty.

Wow I've been lucky tonight. Got an exotic bounty earlier I still need to do. Solo'd an event on Mars that gave me 3 ascendant energy and had a legendary engram drop. 5 minutes later another drops. Went 1/2 on them getting a legendary hand cannon and rare gloves. Those got me enough rep to another Cryptarch level. Got two rare patterns but one of them gave me legendary gloves for Titan's (I'm Warlock though).

Sucks about the first point, but thanks for the info. On the second, I just meant the attack and defense stats, not the other stats weapons have.

Seems I was wrong about the engrams, according to posters here, they are mailed to you.

As for second point, im not entirely sure on that. Will check on it later unless someone else can answer for you.

Buy special ammo and heavy ammo. It comes in real handy for higher level strikes.

How do you get exotic bounties?

It's completely random. Two days ago, I got offered a choice of 3 exotic bounties after turning in some normal ones. Each exotic bounty is made of 3 parts, each part pretty tedious. The one I chose and finished today earned me the exotic hand cannon, Thorn. The other two bounties I passed on were for an exotic shotgun and an exotic pulse rifle.

event timer for earth is either wrong or its assumed to be a set time, and instead a fixed duration decided by the end of the previous event rather than x oclock on the dot.

checked in mothyards, divide and steppes, all were wrong

It happens when you turn bounties in, it'll just pop up and give you a choice of some. I actually had 2 at the same time before.

How so? I stuck with Voidwalker until it was fully leveled and then switched to Sunsinger, but I'm not liking it nearly as much. I don't have everything unlocked yet, though.

Super that charges up grenades and punches/damage up the wazoo

It's the least showy super for sure, but I've never found the need to be flasy with my super though. Nothing like putting it on and entering a room with a shotgun.

Playing a Defender is an exercise in boredom especially, saving your special for reviving allies is its best use. This is all from a PvE stand point, after having done the Raid earlier tonight.

It entirely depends on who you're fighting. If it's somebody who was expecting you to fall down/doesn't realize you're up there it's great. It's especially amazing if you're coming from higher ground and they see you on their radar, and you float in mid-air as they come out of the room with a shotgun to get you, and you're still above them.

But you're also a sitting duck up there.

Defender shield with that ability/talent that makes it give you a temp shield when you pass through it is great for bosses at higher level. I can't imagine going into a Strike without anyone being a Defender honestly. That safe haven is great when things go south.

So Xur is gonna be there in 2,5 hours right? Wondering what he has this weekend. Hopefully it's more weapon focused since I already have an awesome exotic helmet. Bought my second legendary piece yesterday. Had subconsciously been farming vanguard points as well with all events on skywatch haha.

There's always someone farming there so usually I switch to remoteplay on Vita and go watch a movie or something. While walking into the cave every 10-15 minutes or so. Gotta love other people doing the work for you. When there's an event I'll just sit safely in my bubbleshield lol.

Yeah, the 25 strikes are pretty soul crushing. I will suggest you do the moon strike on the lowest difficulty, as you only have to do one multi-wave door before you can make a mad dash to the boss room. If you're with randos, just let the boss kill you when you get there and they'll spawn with you. Fastest way to do it.

Only downside being.. I got Ascendant Shards, many people got Legendary Primaries with element damage.
