But keep at least one tailor alive...where you can sell that stuff. :messenger_winking:

Whats a bit annoying that these traders always have so few coins. At least on the first map none of these traders have more than 380 coins. I have to store so many stuff and wait for them resetting. But on the other hand there seems to be no real endgame goldsink anyway. Might be fine with my 6k coins right now till the end of the game.
In the first game there was this "rebuild a burned down village"-DLC, which was really a nice idea to get rid of yr wealth.
Tbh I hope that the economy of the game will be much harsher in the hardcore mode, the current one seems to be too lenient reading impression here.

In the first game it was hard, all prices got jacked up a lot and the resell value of your equipment plumetted down with the hardcore mode. Loved it, as it made you feel poor for at least 50% of the game (if not more) and you really had to work your ass off if you wanted to offer yourself a nice sword / recipe / helmet, etc...

This game is slowly starting to click for me. People are right it's a tough start especially if you haven't played the first game (like me).

I'm main level 8 or 9 and fighting is starting to make sense. This has been a frustrating part for me even with training with Tomcat. Was fast traveling and interrupted by two bandits who killed someone on a wagon. It took multiple tries to beat them, but I got a much better sense of fighting and controls. It felt good when those two bastards were dead.

Time to play some dice and get money.

Side note: I know Strength levels up when you're encumbered but I noticed my vitality was leveling up as well...even faster than strength. Anyone else notice this?

Just an FYI, came across an annoying bug where saves were taking a very long time to load, this can be fixed by travelling between maps.
I was just going to post about how ridiculous load times have become since reaching the 2nd area.

So when I'm able, going back to the 1st area should fix everything from then on?

Make sure you're also leveling your stealth and thievery skills, I was roleplaying an honourable Henry at first in my playthrough but they end up being really important

And yeah noticed the vitality too with being overweight, makes me feel better about the times I ran around overweight for 10 minutes just to sell 20 pounds of sheep skin for 40 grochen

I was hesitant to buy the game initially because of all the drama leading up to launch, SO fucking glad I did in the end. Absolutely love it. Its gonna be a very strong GOTY contender imo.

Both sides are manipulating and promoting false propaganda. I am the first one that hates wokism and everyone who knows me here knows this because I always complain about this. That being said, with KCD2 we have been able to see who people have become fanatics and they cannot rationalize that just because there are some elements that could point out to wokism, it doesnt mean that the game is woke. So critical thinking and common sense are key in these situations and most people lack this. They just see something that could be woke and automatically scream and curse saying its woke. One has to use their brain a bit sometimes god forbid

I just love that stuff like this can happen in KCD2

There have been fewer more pleasurable moments in gaming than when I was exploring a forest with dappled sunlight breaking through the trees and watching my dog (Mutt) run out in front. Then, out of nowhere, a guy and his mate — 'The Giant' — challenged me to a boxing match.

I won by knocking them both out somehow, proceeded to rob them for all they were worth including their clothes, and then continued to an inn where I had a room for the night. I read a book for a bit, slept to heal myself, and then, at 4'clock in the morning, I was wakened by said boxer and representative in their undergarments because they had hunted me down and wanted another fight. Now that is emergent storytelling!

Holy shit just saw that I’ve put over 30 hours into this game but haven’t even gone to the wedding yet. Am I doing this completely wrong? Just keep finding new stuff to do or new skills I want to work on. I’m having a blast!
I am 45 hours in and also nowhere near going to the wedding. It is fun doing quests for both Radovan and Kreyzl btw.
I think it is best to go there after doing most of the other stuff, since many people you meet in Trosecko will then be present at the wedding and know you and it is just cool.

Only downside is you become a bit OP for some of the main quests.

Metal Gear Solid, Mario Galaxy, Red Dead 2, TLoU, etc

Games that define generations.
Of those games, I am a big fan of MGS, RDR2, and TLoU 1 & 2. Galaxy was fun.

Personally, KCD2 is up there for me, but I think the games you mentioned are more polished and accessible. And have more mass/mainstream appeal.

To use an analogy: KCD2 is catnip, and I'm a cat. But the video game audience is made up of cats, dogs, birds, and goats. And I don't know what you are.

This game is crazy. I stole a dress from a tailor and got stopped by some guards in another town. He took all my stolen stuff so I thought I had to go back to the tailor. I couldn't find the dress again (needed it for my mission) and I read online I could steal it back from the guy. I go back to the town where my items got taken at night and I was able to go into the Inn and find the guy and looted his chest and behold, my dress was in there. Amazing.

I may try combat with controller then. Changing direction/angle with the mouse when trying to attack seems a bit awkward

What issue are you having with the mouse? You either move it 1mm up, down, left or right to change the direction of the attack. I'm guessing you're moving it too far and then changing angles by curving your mouse in another direction

Free look with R1/RB when engaged in combat, so you can choose which enemy you want to focused on when surrounded, or run to a more advantageous space. R3 to lock target and while having lock on, right analog stick to change target

The kb+m control for those are quite awkward so I switch back to controller

Hot fix is releasing. Check out this inclusion:

"Bozhena and Pavlena will no longer report the player for crimes during the quest."

Happy Deep Silver GIF by Xbox

The issue isnt just related to them. it's pretty much every single friendly NPC.

Yesterday, I was doing the archery skill boosting at the range run by the Gamekeeper's son and he kept getting his panties in a twist about me shooting arrows in a range designated for shooting arrows. He eventually threated to call the cops so i had to pay $75 to keep him from doing or so risk losing several skills levels i had boosted. I am like i just rescued your fucking father and this is what I get?

The worst is when the Blacksmith who i had just finished doing TWO quests for answers like a rude cunt every time I go to trade with me. WHAT DO YOU WANT YOU LOSER! Loser? You just hired this loser and i got you your wagon back you ungrateful little shit.

They need to have coded in friendly states for NPCs. If you have literally saved their life, they should give you a pass for small indiscretions.

Even the other way, in kutenburg I had to beat the shit out of a butcher for a sword and after the quest he didn't acknowledge what happened and was friendly. After quests, many NPCs forget what happened then default to local reputation in how they react to Henry.

Sometimes I can really feel the seams where there was cut content or oversight on certain situations.

I'm ready to make another epic post praising and proclaiming my love for this game but first things first, bathhouses are completely bugged in my game. Ever since entering region 2 they just aren't working tried multiple cities, haggle and no haggle. After the dialogue is confirmed I'm simply standing there, no fade to black screen as in region 1 with passage of time, nothing. They DO take my money though! Anyone else experience this? Can't find anything online 🤷‍♂️

Did they explain in the first one why Ikaris lost his powers? I did miss that. I been playing this Richard Madden: The Game hoping to play as Ikaris but is more like a very realistic human medieval era excellent game.

Jokes aside (but he looks like Richard Madden for sure) this game looks, feels and plays fantastic. Very immersive with all the do it yourself gameplay. This guys should make the next Skyrim

I just arrived to kuttenberg today. City looks massive and its incredible how well it runs even with all the NPCs there. 0 performance drops compared to other areas in the game. I also love how stable their GI solution and shadows looks compared to shit UE5.

How do I toggle helmets during dialogue scenes. Henry looks so dumb.

I know i can open/close the visor by pressing down on the dpad but it doesnt work during dialogue scenes or cutscenes.
