This certainly wouldn’t be announced today in a podcast but it’s going to happen eventually.
A year ago it was unfathomable to Xbox fans that HiFi Rush or Starfield would ever be on any other system. While the Starfield rumor is now in limbo, the last week of rumor responses showed how fast Xbox fans were quick to do a 180 and accept games going multiplatform as a “good thing” for Xbox. After those same fans beat their chest saying things like “if you want to play Hi Fi Rush buy an Xbox! lololol salty pony!” for a damn year.
Microsoft beginning to release games multiplatform only ends one way: All of their games eventually go multiplatform. Because they’ve run the numbers somewhere and decided it’s in their financial interests to not limit themselves to Xbox, Game Pass and PC.
