We've had employees on GAF saying their stores have gotten multiple shipments of Wii U since release.
The fact that it is available on store shelves right now is in part because Nintendo has been much better about providing supply compared to the Wii launch.
"Wii U hardware was sold out, we checked, so it's a supply issue,"
How is patcher allowed to make false statement like this?
That includes 4.5 million units of Call of Duty: Black Ops II on the Xbox 360 and 2.9 million on the PlayStation 3, Gamasutra has learned.
Hardly any numbers :-/
O I ain't dreading through 31 pages of text, so:
How are these results for Vita and WiiU?
Nothing about the success of Halo 4 or AC3?
Hitman and PSASBR are bombas?
I thinks we can safely say that CoD is in decline now, alot of evidence is pointing towards this.
Also, although I don't like to celebrate bombas Hitman deserves it and I'm glad it isn't a success.

I'm positive if there wasn't a metric shit ton of text to translate Animal Crossing would have been out.Animal Crossing should have been out.
1 - Halo 4 - 3 > with bundles and < 3 without
2 - AC 3 - 360 and PS3 did more then 1 million each but no hard numbers were given buut best in the series
3 - Both of them are bomba
More decline in the 360 version as well
Nobody has said any Hitman numbers, so there's no way to know right now if it bombed or not.
1 week of NSMBU > 2 weeks of all PS3 launch games combined
the playstation family still outsold the 360
given the marketing budget that game had + the price drop 3 weeks after release + the fact that Square wants/wanted to turn the hitman name into their own AssCreed means that it not being in the top ten = bomb.
So, given the numbers / estimates for the full month
Xbox 360: 1.26M (-25.9%) - Nearly 2x every other console and more than Wii U + Wii combined.
Nintendo 3DS: 540K (-32.1%)
Nintendo Wii U: 425K
Nintendo Wii: 420K (-51.1%)
Nintendo DS: 370K (+5.7%)
PlayStation Vita: 210K-225K
PlayStation 3 less than 790k
And the numbers we got for Black Friday
Xbox 360: 750k
Nintendo 3DS: 250k
Nintendo Wii: 300k
Nintendo DS: 275k
PlayStation Vita: 160k
PlayStation 3: 525k
We can estimate how all the consoles did in the first three weeks of the month
Xbox 360: 510k
Nintendo 3DS: 290k
Nintendo Wii: 120k
Nintendo DS: 95k
PlayStation Vita: 50-65k
PlayStation 3: less than 265k
It really wasn't.Wii U was sold out during the reporting period.
If Nintendo doesn't do something quick they may be looking at less than GCN marketshare in America this generation.laughably poor performance for the wii u in the rest of the month. wow.
Expect 2013 to be a pretty grim year unless A) their marketing gets a hell of a lot better or B) they release a new Zelda or Metroid-scale title. Short of those two, 2013 is gonna be a bloodshed in the home console market. The 3DS will chug along, but it won't outdo the DS in terms of sales from generation to generation. If Nintendo doesn't do something quick they may be looking at less than GCN marketshare in America this generation.
Those Halo 4 numbers are bad. Worse than Reach and Halo 3.
Proof that releasing up against CoD was a terrible move.

Is it really that bad? Then again November release and a HUGE budget this time :-/
Given SE's expectations no top 10 listing has to be bad, although we still don't know what number 10 sold at do we?
Has creamsugar gave any hints for Hitman?
We should all remember that numbers in November are much higher than in other months. Last year Super Mario 3D Land wasn't in top 10, but it almost did 600k for the month, so maybe it's too soon to call Hitman: Absolution a bomba, no?

did it get a $20 price cut 3 weeks after release too?
Number 10 was >243k, given Mario is out of the top 10 and had that amount.
Miyamoto-san perhaps we shoul-
"You put too many words in the game. Why did the characters have to talk? It's fine without those."
But sir I don't think tha-
"Why isn't the battle system faster too? Why not have Mario jump on enemies or use the hammer."
Sir then it's just a regular Mari-
"Well, hop to it!"
Sounds like bad news all around to me. What a mess this generation transition has been.

Not sure how serious your reply to Anihawk is; Wii U had one week's worth of sales outside of BF week, right? >_>If Nintendo doesn't do something quick they may be looking at less than GCN marketshare in America this generation.
Vita sales outside black Friday are shocking!
There were multiple stock replenishments within that week. The toys r us near me had new units on Friday and Sunday. Some of the targets in the area had new units Wednesday at the very least. You could spin it that it didn't sell out because stores briefly had stock during the week or you could even spin it that it sold out multiple times I guess. It's a dead horse at his point. It really wasn't.

3DS had a bad BF, thus a meh month. It actually outsold all the others except for 360 during other weeks. Nintendo dropped the Ball badly this time, so much that DS outsold it for the period thanks to massive deals. At least, first half lineup should be pretty good.
So is >750k and <790k for ps3 correct?
I think creamsugar would say something if the >750k was a misinterpretation from his posts, right?
There's not a quantifiable amount for "nearly."360 at nearly twice every other ... is pretty clear, if you think about it. I was guessing around 700k from that for PS3

Just to make sure: wasn´t this number given for "north america" and not "US"?
