This is LTD?
You dont have to you're super close! I was just curious
Wow, great job Microsoft!! I think word of mouth will only help the X1 even more. It's a great product, well worth the 500 big ones.
I'm floored by the Wii U number, I thought 350k would be a 'good' result. The rest are fairly predictable.
Congrats to Microsoft for taking advantage of PS4 shortages.
Make it count, it won't less long.
No thoughts on Vita?
<100k is definitely less than I ever imagined.... It means basically no retail presence.
In all of 2013:
Nintendo 1st party: -4.7% ($ revenue) compared to 2012
Sony 1st-party: 43.2% ($ revenue) compared to 2012
It's dead in the US. Has been all year (well, since launch really). It doesn't even hurt anymore. I saw 95k and thought 'huh, yeah, sure'.No thoughts on Vita?

A little from column A and a little from column BSmokyDave is holding back the tears
either that, or just blank acceptance
Sunday suppose to be another restock day at best buy atleast.Yeah, I'll depend if Sony can improve their supply or not.
Supply....whats your point?
Supply....whats your point?
but... It wasn't. Sony messed up and lost buyers because they couldn't properly supply the US. This is in no way a negative for Sony, and is a positive for MS. Sony just potentially lost many buyers for the next few years, and Microsoft just gained a new costumer for the next 5+ years.

Here's what we got, so far.
1. 3DS - ?
2. XB1 - 908K
3. PS4 - ~860K
4. 360 - 643K
5. WIIU - 481K
6. PS3 - 299K
7. WII
8. PSV - ~95K

It's out on PC, and 360... unless MS all out lies and markets it as a XBO only game I don't see it pushing too many XBO sales. There will be a bump... but not as much as if it was exclusive to XBO. It'll sell mostly on 360 then PC, and lastly XBO.
Huh?I find myself wondering what the near nonexistent sales mean for remote play going forward. I wonder if sony will even keep enforcing the remote play for every game thing if it keeps tanking like this.
Huh?
Remote play does not require any extra work.
It's a system level feature. At worst, devs just won't make custom Vita control schemes.I find myself wondering what the near nonexistent vita sales mean for remote play going forward. I wonder if sony will even keep enforcing the remote play for every game thing if it keeps tanking like this.

I've thought about this, but the Xbox 360 version could actually turn out to be quite the help for the Xbox One version of the game. With so many Xbox 360 owners out there, what better advertisement could there be for a potential next gen version if the game really does turn out as good as hoped? Not like Titanfall suffers from a lack of word of mouth, but actual 360 owners having the game themselves might turn out to be the best form of advertisement for the even better next gen version.
why what?why?
I'm guessing they'll have more supply than they had in December for the US. There seems to have been large shipments from all major retailers this month.
lol. I have no idea what you're talking about. Why didn't you come to the conclusion that the people who bought the Xbox One would have bought it regardless? I don't think there's enough people out there who are so impatient that they wouldn't wait until the PS4 is in stock and drop 500 bucks on a system they didn't intend to get in the first place. The consoles will last for at least the next 5 years.
Ahh... I assumed he meant that in a negative way for Microsoft, which I don't see how it's negative for them.Yeah...everyone knows this. I was just guessing what he meant by that statement....turns out he was talking about something else.
I love the feature, there is absolutely no reason to get rid of it.
Way to go Microsoft! Keep it competitive. It would not be good for consumers if one or the other got huge lead.
Oh Nintendo! Damn . . . not even getting Gamecube numbers. The WiiU is dead. It is just a platform to play Nintendo First party software now. Ditch the tablet controller and slash the price to $200. I'll then get one just to play Super Mario 3D World.
The software lists are so boring these days with the same tent-pole multi-platform titles dominating over and over and over again. :-/
Aaron Greenberg said:Some good #NPD SW facts: #XboxOne YTD 2013: 4.8M retail games vs. 4.2M for PS4. COD & BF4 both sold better on #XboxOne.
The PS4 crush the life out of PS3 that is why.Why does the 360 beat the PS3 so convincingly?
Cant see that this was posted before
No, he's saying that people will play the 360 version and then want to go out and buy the XBone to play the better version. What am I reading?
Are you trying to say that someone with a 360 will show their friends the game and then said friends will go out and buy an XBO and the game to not play with their original friend? Those are some shitty friends.
No, he's saying that people will play the 360 version and then want to go out and buy the XBone to play the better version.
Not sure I agree with that, but I could see MS using Titanfall 1 to hook in 360 owners and then make Titanfall 2 exclusive to the XBone to drive some people to upgrade.
it was about halfway through the thread, nice long discussion especially since his other tweet accidentally reveals that the PS4 has sold more 3rd party software

The PS4 crush the life out of PS3 that is why.
Well that is just silly and would be very very few people.
This on the other hand is something that could actually work.
Depends how good the game is, if its that good people will want to pay the superior version
You have stumbled across gamings best kept secret: America fucking loves Xbox. Its not just that. The 360 wins every month. An XB1 and PS4 was available yet the 360 still did a great number.
