Should I join a faction or stay neutral?

I have 28 vanguard points and 10 Crucible now

Personally I'd join a faction as you can earn reputation for both PVP and PVE bounties/matches. IMO it's easier to up your level to 2/3 with a faction.

Oh and Dead Orbit armor is extremely cool.

for every kill you get 1 point, for every assist you apparantly also get 1 point. For every death you loose one point.. counts cross games. You need to reach 25.. easier than it sounds

Bollocks, should have completed part 1 of my bounty before I jumped in PvP, I had a 6.0 K/D playing Titan Defender last night. :|

There's a lot of really annoying player behavior in Strikes. :-\

I let them have a little play then I continued to the boss which makes a new checkpoint, they quit but I managed to do the boss solo only got some shit Rare items but meh worth it.

I farmed on the moon for 2 hours and didn't get any purple engrams. I thought I'd try some crucible instead but it turns out only the worst players get rewarded the good stuff. :/

I already bought the arm band, but if I have 28 Vanguard points already, I think I should reach where I can buy a rare item then shift?

I'm just trying to figure things out. It's kinda complicated to be honest

you wont loose Vanguard or Crucible rep if you pick a faction. in fact, I think you can go around a max all factions.

- equip regular bonds/cloaks/badges and you earn Vanguard / Crucible rep.
- equip a faction bond/cloak/badge and earn their rep in both PvE and PvP.

4th time in a row now on the Nexus strike people kill themselves before the boss to keep doing that certain spot where loads of Goblins are for drops.

Yeah i know what you mean. I am on the exotic bounty that requires me to complete 25 strikes and nexus is the fastest way to do it, but you know whats even more annoying for them - do not kill yourself and just wait on the top so your fireteam will respawn without any vex around you.

On the flip side you must have collected a fair bit of XP and glimmer. Plus the trade ins to the Cryptarch must have upped his level a bit.

6 minutes until Xur. I'm at work but I might connect my Vita to my phones Internet and connect through remote play.

I still have blue arms, but enough Vanguard marks to buy the purple ones. I also have 25 strange coins.

If he has exotic hunter arms, I'll be torn between them or the weapon. I'm not sure whether to get the weapon or an exotic to replace one of my purples. I got a purple burst rifle last night, but prefer auto...

Hot my first legendary last night it was some gauntlets. It came from a regular enemy drop feels ok man.

This will be my 4th Legendary engram, all the others turned into Rare lets hope this is Legendary. If it is it will be a Machine Gun or Rocket Launcher.

I've seen conflicting things about that. The description says to do the weekly or nightfall strike but some are saying that any heroic strike will work.

If I remember right I actually did a random level 20 strike with a friend and finished the first part of that bounty. But my suggestion was for the second part, the 25 strikes.

Huge thanks to whomever suggested the Moon Strike to grind out the 25 Strikes. Tested it tonight and already have three done. I might actually get all 25 done this weekend.

Wait so you don't have the bounty? Then you wont find the Journal. First you randomly get the Bounty. Then you do Weekly Strike.
