It's just silly that you think that the software lineup has been lacking that everyone should think it's lacking.
Yes, from a first party put it's been a weak holiday lineup, but the PS4 still has the best version of multiplatform games.

However the PSN problems I do agree with.

I don't find it silly at all, since I'm hardly the only person that's been disappointed by everything outside of Infamous on the first party list thus far.

Now, I don't own an XB1 (never will because I refuse to support it on principle) so I can't speak for the experience of not having better multiplats. I'm happy about being on the better side of that deal, but I don't feel the need to credit Sony for MS messing up the architecture of their hardware.

2015 looks much more promising anyway. I'm not sure that Blood Borne will be the system mover a lot of you predict it to be, but at least I know that it will be a solid game. I expect Sony to lose Jan, but Win Feb and March, and the U.S market to stay fairly even between the two as long as MS keeps the price cut. If anything, these sale figures might imply that the Sony audience generally don't care as much for CoD and other mainstream AAA titles as much as the Xbox consumer, in which case they are left waiting for the Naughty Dog and Insomniac titles of the world like I me.

I wouldn't be too sure. At $349 if your inclined to purchase an XB1 then there is nothing to wait for. The question is, did MS already shoot their load in NOV/DEC because of the bundles.

I purchased my 2nd New PS4 in December from Newegg for $330 so I couldn't see paying more then $350 for an unbundled console.

I personally believe there are still more people who want PS4's then XB1's but are just not willing to pay the current price point for the PS4.

I added the Vita TV together with Vita including TV instead of subtracting to get Vita without TV.

Total Vita angle is :56.3
7.2 degrees is Vita TV.
Normal Vita is 49.1

Apple's business model revolves around high margins on hw. Price drops do not make sense for their flagship phones, nor does keeping their cheap phones/tabs in circulation make sense after they've been replaced.

Besides XB1, but I feel most people felt XB1 would be a non-factor in Japan this generation. PS4 is doing pretty horrible in Japan. I think it just broke a million consoles there.

There is no way that the XB1 ACU bundle is making money at $349 and with 2 Third Party games (including a brand new AAA one) imo.
I'm sort of puzzled as to why MS didn't make it a Halo MCC bundle, in which case they might have been breaking even.

So are you counting Vita sales this month to be almost 170k? Using shinra's measurements from cream's pie graph with 810k for 3DS as the baseline, I got 19k for PSTV.

170k is a huge increase from last year. Why do people think it happened?
