I remember Tsushima having crashing issues at launch on PC, I wonder if Nixxes ever fixed it? I haven't been back to test it out...

Honestly, I'm glad I originally planned on waiting to get this. I have absolutely zero regrets. Lower price + bug fixes and improvements feels like it'll be worth waiting out for.

It’s fixed from what I’ve played of the game. Granted, there seems to be a memory leak issue that happens slowly over the course of a session, which is another discussion. No crashing on my main PC, though.

Trying to play it on the ROG Ally does see it crashing, however, at least for me.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
And runs at a locked 60 fps, 1800p, with RTGI, on console. SM2 is just a bad port right now, has nothing to do with, whatever the man was saying above lol.

It's ChorizoPicozo ChorizoPicozo ... that's his schtick. Pay him no mind.

He's just pretending to be retarded to shill this disappointing game.

Yeah, you'd think he's played the game enough to know its not a throwaway location, but part of a mission, lol.

Pc stays losing as usual. As someone who plays on pc, it's one of the worst ways to play a game. If you're not playing at way better graphics settings than console, it's pointless. Some will say free online and mod support but those are both crap. In popular competitive games, it's cheaters galore. In fact, I'd rather pay so that there's some sort of barrier to the cheaters. If you have to keep paying $70 when you get banned, it's reduce the amount of cheaters significantly. As for mods, for every 1 good more, there are 10 jank bad mods...

Nah I’m just not an anti woke extremist zealot that has a period anytime they discover a BIPOC graffiti
It's just wild how intense it's all gotten (from all angles, really). It's just exhausting. I've seen people shun games that are loved by many just because of flags, as if they make up the entire game, lol. Or very small segments, or missions. I personally don't get it, but to each their own of course.

No offense, but beggars can't be choosers. Be happy that Sony gave an effort to port there exclusives to PC, and even removing PSN requirements, even if porting ps exclusives to pc, has not been bearing any fruits at all in terms of sales number in pc and have not entice PC gamers to buy PS consoles. I do agree on one thing, the game is woke infested which turn me off from this game. Some are unskippable and part of the game.

I really hope that porting exclusives to PC is just temporary just to cover the loses from those bad decision by Sony on those live service and gaas which were later cancelled and the flop woke infested Concord.
Dude, shut the fuck up.

warped console warrior mentality. paying $60 for a product is not begging. anyway the game seems fine.

Well, there is is. The most stupid piece I've read on this board today.

Good night gentlemen, enough internet for today.

The game was pretty buggy/unstable on PS5, so this isn't really surprising to me.
Wasn't that corrected on day one or like a week later ? because I remember it was smooth sailing not too long after release.

However, when you have a 5090 and have this shitty performance.... then something is wrong.

100 frames at 4k native with no ray tracing. just DLAA on a 5090 ?

ill take the 2k 120 frames give or take on the PS5 pro over that garbage. It's 3 times cheaper if not more.

unoptimized games on PC is nothing new. which is why in general you kinda need at least something like a 4070 to match the PS5 Pro. But this is just a new low and unacceptable.
Sony should get grilled over this. They are treating PC players like a second-class citizen. how about fuck off and don't release the shitty game in the first place ? hope it doesn't sell for shit and they actually lose money wasted on time and cost to port this crap.

Is this a new copypasta?

I didn't have a ton of issues, but I do remember it crashing more often than the average PS5 game, and I know a bunch of people that were dealing with more severe issues with the game weeks after launch.

All adds up.

Base console versions were buggy.

Nixxxes is stretched very thin.

PC version is a rush job.

Releases with little marketing/fanfare.

Early reviews are disappointing.

Forecast: sales will be quite low

Forecast: Some PS ”enthusiasts" will claim above sequence of events as evidence of either (1) the failure of the PC strategy and how it should/will be canned ASAP or (2) lacking PC hardware Vs consoles

Question: Sony however, a business looking for growth, looking to lower risks, looking to improve profitability in the context of ballooning development budgets, increased dev cycles, rising competition from new segments (despite the struggles of it's traditional rival) will...do..what?

It's an awesome looking game especially with ray tracing. Walking around at street level kind of gives you a glimpse of what GTA 6 will be. The population density is very impressive with people and with traffic. I think I was getting around 120 fps with frame gen on and ray tracing almost all the way up. Think I had shadows off but had the top two settings at ultra along with ray reconstruction on transformer. That's on a 4070 ti at 1440p.

But yea, lots of social justice bullshit. Big turn off.

No it wasn’t

It was definitely buggier than the average Sony first party release, there were topics and posts from multiple people playing it at lunch here. I ran into some game breaking things myself and posted about it.

Not buggy like a euro jank game, but buggier than SM 2018 for sure.

Imagine calling something “slop” while enjoying the first a lot and not playing the second

Hint: in most areas that matter, it’s a very good upgrade
You're right, anyone saying the gameplay was better in the first game either didn't play the second game and/or is bullshitting. The first game, as much as I liked it, was completely piss easy and a non-challenge. The swinging alone in 2 is infinitely better.
