GeForce RTX 5090 is $1,999 5080 $999 5070 Ti $749 5070 $549 (Availability Starting Jan 30 for RTX 5090 and 5080)

Is it usual practice for Nvidia to have a preorder page for their Founder's editions? I've only ever bought AIB models.

Big if true…
Im beginning to think this is performance in fps with frame gen. If the frame gen works flawlessly then this would be great, but my guess is that it breaks down pretty drastically as base frame rate drops.

I noticed that people get really upset when you say you want to spend money on a GPU. I haven't seen that response on anything else- 1200 iPhones or 3000 OLED screens everyone is cheering. Bizarre. Just what did Jensen do to people's dogs?

The bit about the 5070 being equivalent of a 4090 but 50 less than the 4070 is pretty enticing, not gonna lie.

If it's true, Nvidia seems to be much more competitive at the upper midrange than in the 40 gen. Could all be smoke and mirrors though

Only true with mutiple frame gen. In normal raster it looks to be ~25-30% better than 4070.

i'm not solution compare. Just how it work.

anyway seems 5070 pretty weak so that why price is low. Raw power is Requiem and Far cry 6

Well that explains why the 5070 was being touted as 4090 performance for less than 600 bucks.

It's probably nowhere near it in terms of raw native performance, and probably nowhere close using DLSS3 either. Turn on Multi FG and the 'magic' happens.

I pixel peeped. It's 41% better in a Plague Tale. That's a nice improvement and brings it on par with the 7900 XT and 4070 Ti Super.

any word on dimensions for the 5090? Wondering if it will fit inside my Lian Air Mini case.
L: 304mm
W: 137mm
Slot: 2 slot or 35-43mm

L, W, Slot from Nvidia site but the 35-43mm size from google.

Direct from site:
"For the GeForce RTX 5090, our engineers have created an unbelievable 2-slot, 304mm long x 137mm high x 2-slot wide, SFF-Ready Enthusiast GeForce Card capable of quietly cooling the high-performance Blackwell GPU inside thanks to a revolutionary new double flow through design."
Seems it's SFF ready which is awesome. I guess it's Founders Edition for me.

I can't wait to upgrade but I'm a little disappointed in pure performance jump ( without AI)
43% faster in A Plague Tale Requiem according to my pixel peeping. That's actually an average uplift, but the 4090 spoiled us, so anything less than 50% was going to be disappointing.

Sure but cyberpunk PT at 4K 240 fps is pure madness

The video that shows 4k 240fps is RT though afaik, not PT.
I haven't checked myself, but is RT Overdrive the same as PT or is PT another toggle in the settings?
If its another toggle, then the video only shows Raytracing 240fps.

Waiting to see quality of it

But its heading in that direction, ML replacing the brute force because it does it much more efficiently. It'll only increase.

Jesus Christ at all the freaking variants... Can't we just get like 4 models spread between low, mid, high and insanely rich end and leave the rest to the brands, if they will be able to cool better to overclock more than another or whatever? Every damn tier has regular, Ti, Super variants of its own now...

We will continue to see attempts at clever solutions via software now that hardware improvements are slowing to a crawl.
