Preface is a tech demo developed by PLAYERUNKNOWN Productions to demonstrate Melba, our in-house world-generation engine currently in development. This demo provides users with an opportunity to experience real-time terrain generation at Earth-scale (510,000,000 km² or 200,000,000 sq mi) directly on their GPU, using machine learning techniques with no reliance on cloud services.
