Thats a lot of tiers, well for me its was a bad show, i like Lies of P DLC announcement and the new Housemarque game, but they showed no gameplay of the latter and then i liked MGS3 short trailer but we already know thats coming.
The rest i didn't care for, i think all the indie games looked generic? what happened to indie games, in 2011-2019 they used to be super innovative and unique, nowadays they are just soulless shit about muh feelz!
Overall a bad show sadly, good to see Lies of P dlc coming though.

Started slow, the end was really fucking good though. Most of the games towards the end have my interest.

Overall there were probably 6 games off the top of my head that I have interest in.

Goes down to Sony not knowing how to produce these. You can't show games people are uninterested in for 38 minutes and then land on a game that would otherwise be interesting. People are tuned out at that point and the result is, "Cool.... I guess?"

Sony used to be a lot better at this. I want to say they opened the PS5 Showcase with Miles Morales if I recall correctly.

I feel like i'm always out of step with the majority opinion. I really enjoyed the SoP.

Perhaps it's because i don't care about Sony's first party, like at all. I hate their games so no expectations from me.

It seems that what people want to keep from this is the Returnal-like game with no gameplay shown and another shitty Sonic racing game. I'm scratching my head.

Good amount of games shown, but not many I'm interested in.

Monster Hunter is day 1.

Hell is Us, Midnight Walk and Dreams of Another are very intriguing and MW and DoA are VR, so that's a big bonus.

Keeping my eyes on Tides of Annihilation, Mindseye, Saros, Metal Eden and that Splitgate alpha or whatever it was.

It's insane to me that we get a remaster of a 2019 game who's sequel was canceled because it failed(initially) comercially and with the public instead of a remaster of a classic that's been asked for ages and is 1 month away from it's 10th anniversary.

Whoever makes these decisions at Sony: Well Fuck You too!

F. I don’t even need to explain.

Never watching another again. Will wait for after they are done to pick at it.

Geoff and Xbox get my views. Until Sony completely gets their head out of their ass and fires Herman plus current strategists, this company is cooked.

Why are you showing me 2026 titles 1 month into 2025? Why are you showing me remasters for IPs you abandoned? Why is there next to no gameplay?

Absolutely horrendous.

Shinobi, Saros, Tides of Annihilation, Days Gone remastered, Hell is Us and that clay game looked interesting. C+

Actually lost interest in Onimusha after that. MGS Delta would have been more exciting if we hadn't already seen that trailer.

Some interesting things, but was it just me or was that short cinematic teaser for the new returnal (looks great) the only new Sony game shown? Like what the fuck have they been doing with all their studios. It’s bonkers. Even death stranding 2 is no longer a Sony game, they sold the IP back to kojima.

D. All the games I’m interested in I already knew about. Lies of P DLC, new Onimusha trailer, and Housemarque saved it from an F.

Way too much filler meh crap that I'd never touch especially the first 15 minutes. Awful presentation. Any highlights I was probably already too annoyed to appreciate.

A generous E for Ehhhhh.

C+, not B just because DG remaster nobody ever wanted, and I'm sick of remasters in general. Oh and those devs acting like pitching games to kindergarten kids.

Pacing was generally good. I think the presenters should have been shown before their games though.

It started mid but got much better.

Sold on
Shinobi
Borderlands 4
Metal Gear
Hell is Us
Saros

Interested in
Sonic Racing
Metal Eden (depending on co op/pve)
Onimusha
Directive 8020
Midnight Walk
Tides of Annihilation
Mindseye
That High School girls game

Honestly the worst one I’ve ever seen. Aside from Returnal 2 (which is 2026), I wasn’t interested in a damn thing. F tier.

Pacing was great.

Games shown were foocking trash

Probably a B+. Lots of cool stuff. But no god of war Greek saga means those insiders/leakers all have dirty asses and I hope it squelches every time they sit down. I wanted that remaster set.

D+, but mostly because I hated the pacing and its bloatness.
This gonna be a GREAT thread

I sold my ps5 a month before pro came out......and never bought a pro😅

I've just been using my PC and Rog ally and I think I'm out of Playstation after 30 years 🤷‍♂️

Though I did buy loads of Sony games on pc 😅

Okay okay, I will admit that Shinobi looked pretty cool.

Tides of Annihilation, Stellar Blade DLC, Lost Souls Aside, and Onimusha 2 are wins. I allowed myself to get to hype for potentials for Parasite Eve and Final Fantasy 13 though. Digimon Story looked interesting.

I think that it was the worst presentation I watched from Sony.

The only things I cared was for multiplatform titles (Lies of P dlc, MH Wilds and Onimusha) and the Stellar Blade dlc.

Even the PS3 price announcement conference was better.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
Nothing is given time to breathe. I think the Octopus game is an Abe Odyssey like game but it could be completely different.

That's what I thought of too. Which immediately put the game on my wish list.

C for me if only for the fact that there were some actually new games/IPs :

- Bollywood Returnal (2)
- Lezlie Benzies' car gliding on air game
- We have death stranding at home game
- Womin' fighting in London game

...and Onimusha which I liked (and which is gonna be day1 for me).
Talking about Capcom...Pragmata must be deader than a festering corpse (unfortunately).

People feel like are watching State of Play for the first time. It was never good.
I dropped watching this crap once those soycucks made a State entirelly out of GaaS cringe games. Waste of precious time.
