No, actually I thought that the beginning was the best part of the game lol, it just start to meander endlessly after a few hours in and is extrememely bloated.I played for 6 hours then dropped the game.
I thought it was extremely generic and bland zombie game. No personality whatsoever beside the biker vibe since the bike handling itself was absolute shit.
Should i have persevered ?

Lots of games could be amazing if shit is done right. Concord could have been amazing if it had skinny chicks with big boobs and curvy butts. But odds are, Bend is a shell of their former selves and Days Gone was the most generic open world game last gen.Funnily enough I've said this before regarding days gone and the potential for a multiplayer component:
Teaming up to take on hordes and extract materials from their nests (while having to also fight off other teams of players with the same objective) has the potential to be amazing if done right.

It really wasn't, when played on any of the harder difficulties it had a ton of systems that you were forced to utilise along with emergent gameplay opportunities. There's nothing "generic" about doing stuff like this:
Job hires showed Bend were working on two different games, a new IP under Decima Engine and another game in UE5, this must be their UE5 game.Days Gone on the Pro could actually see some uplift, HZD is still a complete waste of time and resources.
I found that novelty wore off quick. I’ve tried to go back or restart the game at least 3 times and I fall off that bike quick.
Good on the guy in the video finding creative ways to dispatch enemies. It reminds me of the combat complaints with the last Zelda. Combat can be super boring. Or you can be creative and make it more fun.
This ain’t it though. Ben’s made sure to make your one and only friend a black guy.Sony was really like “The kids hate the woke stuff find me the whitest, straightest, most likely racist in the portfolio and fast track a remake”
Nah. I just checked my trophies and I can’t tell you how far in the story I got. I felt like I did a lot. I had to be past the halfway mark.So you never finished it?
To date it's still the only open world game I've got every single achievement for. Everything just clicked for me in a way that it hasn't in many other open world games, it's a game that will reward you in spades if you think outside of the box in terms of how to handle each encounter. If you just go in guns blazing for every single fight then yeh, I can see that getting old fast.
I hope it is free on Steam for owners of Days Gone.
I thought people liked Days Gone.
Make sure you actually play it this time... I'm sure a remake of the remaster is just around the corner.I had planned to play it in a lull for several years (that and the DS2 platinum), but never got around to it. I'll play this version instead.
The silver lining is it is possible a sequel will be next since they revive the game through remaster.I played this again recently on PS5 and it holds up extremely well. I don't understand why they're remaking games that still look as good as any of the "next gen" games that are out
In which case this is *very* exciting, I loved Days Gone, 100% completed that game.If true then a sequel has been greenlit.
Who the hell is Sony trying to reach with remasters of games that still look good?
Finally another ps4 game to show off the power of the ps5 pro.
