Simply to coincide with RetroGamingUK RetroGamingUK thread, I was curious to see the other side of the coin. Which current Sony exclusivity would you buy if they would release on the Xbox series? Similarly to the other thread, participate to the poll only if you do not own a PS5! :messenger_grinning:

What are the reason you haven't bought a PS5 yet?
 
Pointless thread, pointless poll, they will never be on Xbox.

I will say this though, that list of games looks a hell of a lot better than Microsoft's potential offerings in the other thread doesn't it.

If anyone's wondering why PS5 is now outselling Xbox series by over 4:1, that list is it.

Demons's Souls, Rise of Ronin on discount. Already have them. Id pick up GoW 1 and Spider Man 1 for very cheap. Already have them. Stellar Blade, maybe very cheap. Didnt like the demo.

Astro Bot is the best game. I'd buy it a 2nd time.

I was only Xbox, thanks to MLB The Show being on both, until I bought a PS5 to play AstroBot. It was definitely a worthwhile purchase. If AstroBot had been on Xbox or PC day one, I wouldn't have bought a PS5.
 
Just like that thread you're copying, the title should be: Xbox Series only-owners, not owners only, which implies only those who own Xbox Series consoles, yet might also own a PS5, and vice-versa.
 
I normally buy Xbox systems as soon as they launch, Nintendo systems for Animal Crossing, and Sony systems when the slim model comes out and they stop supporting cross gen games.
 
Gran Turismo, i dont need open world cinematic over the shoulder slop, and all the best JRPG's have a PC port or are on Nintendo anyway.

Both of them look underwelming to me, to be frank. There's like a couple of IPs from MS and from Sony that are appealing to me and that's it; everything else of interest is 3rd party.
 
Demon's Souls, though not as much since that recent thread about it. None of the other games pique my interest. I realize all of the games I've been enjoying the most in recent years are multiplatform.

None of the ones in the OP, but maybe FF16 or MGS4 if it's part of a hypothetical MGS Vol 2.
 
Uncharted, maybe Astrobot - nothing else immediately appeals (although I'm sure I would enjoy a few were I made to play them).

Erm, no, you don't speak for everybody fortunately. That PS game list leaves me pretty cold, and is one of the main reasons I haven't owned a PS since PS2.

We all have our own preferences, believe it or not.
 
I'd rent Assholebot and beat it

Buy Stellar Blade and sell it when the PC version releases

Thats it. I have zero interest in any of those other games on any platform

This generation is a big nothing burger for me other than re-releases of old games like marvel vs and lunar

Last Guardian
Gravity Rush 2

Ones I will consider:

God of War
TLOU 2
Astro bot

Everything else, depends if I have free time. Not really itching to play them but could be cool.
 
Just Helldivers from that list. I had a PS5 at launch so I've played a few(sold it in 23). I'm beyond bored of the Sony first party games. Astrobot looks ok but I'm not big on platformers.
 
Horizon Remaster, although the more I see of it the less likely that would be.

Returnal, would suck balls at it but it's one that would scratch a different itch.

Helldivers 2, for the shits and giggles...

Can I participate if I had a PS5 but not anymore?

I was looking forward to Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Returnal, Astrobot, GoT: Director's Cut and Ragnarok. Only Astrobot turned out to be great.

The only game that I really wanted to play but didn't was Demon's Souls.
 
This topic is a great example to explain why the xbox is the way it is.

This obsession with everything that the Xbox has problems boils down to "Sony too" or/and "Sony is the one with the rubbish console that makes it difficult to make games", this complacency of the press that thinks it needs to "praise the Xbox" when it praises the Playstation, talking bad about the Playstation when the Xbox has problems and the Xbox fanboys who think they need to "win" arguments on the internet is the reason the Xbox is going bankrupt.

In the end, the xbox fan's problem has always been looking at a topic like this and not being able to understand that the xbox's problem is this retarded thing of "winning on the internet by denying reality and delusional" in some way it's victory

And of course, no Xbox fan will realize how ridiculous this topic is, how lunatic it is that it scares away any intelligent person in the real world.

Playing the game for a fanatic doesn't get you very far and that's what the retarded Xbox sect can't understand

The more you, an Xbox fan, defend the Xbox, the worse it is for the Xbox and you.

Winning the competition for who is the most fanatical and retarded fan is not victory.
